A recent review of our clients has showed that our most popular tariff is our c:50 (50 inclusive messages a month for £55.90 plus VAT). We also found that an economical 38% of our clients review their tariff at least twice a year and alter it up or down to cope with seasonal trends. 80% of our existing clients said, that when choosing our call answering service, the flexibility to change tariffs on a monthly basis was one of the main reasons that attracted them to Connect.


04/01/11:
With the 'Big Freeze' affecting many of our clients ability to get into their own offices over the past month, our operators have been on hand to help keep many businesses functioning. Many of our customers heeded the advice that they should stay home and so asked us to act as their frontline receptionists and transfer calls to their home number or mobile. We've received lots of compliments with most callers not even realising that our clients were working from home. Oh... and a Happy New Year!


06/09/10:
What a month August was! We've welcomed 4 new full time members of staff to the teams to keep up with the demand as our client base continues to grow. On average, August saw us take on a new client every day, from sole traders to small businesses, doctors to a nationwide network of tradesmen we've had it all this month.


09/08/10:
Having now been able to go over our call answering statistics for last month, as predicted we saw a huge increase in the volume of calls being received. At Connect we have long had a suspicion that our clients use the service even more when the sun is shining and they wish to be out of the office enjoying it safe in the knowledge that their calls are still being dealt with professionally. Our teams also saw peaks when Andy Murray was playing at Wimbledon- very strange!


02/06/10:
Well the good news is that the Eyjafjallajoekull volcano in Iceland seems to now be focussed on one direction and has stopped producing the ash that had caused so much travel disruption over the past two months. A number of our clients found themselves unexpectedly out of the country for longer than expected, but with our help, disruption to their businesses was limited. On finally returning home from their experience we received many emails and phone calls of thanks, a lot of callers had been completely unaware of any of our clients problems.

We have this week had our first confirmed cases of swine flu for two our call answering clients. Both were understandably worried about having caught the flu but also as to how their businesses would cope. Our operators, as instructed by our clients, have altered how they respond to callers for the hopefully short period that both clients recuperate, safe in the knowledge that their customers are being answered and handled professionally.


19/06/09:
Website development news: We are now planning to make it even easier to sign up for a free trial of our call answering service. Work is now under way to develop an online application form meaning that our turnaround for adding new prospective clients is even faster. We hope to have this live within the coming weeks. Swine flu is on it's way! (apparently) so in order to combat any possible outbreak within our call answering team we are following all Governmental advice. Any staff showing suspected symptoms are urged to stay home to avoid spreading the influenza. Read more...
